Departure towards Nafplio in the early afternoon, with an opportunity to relax and swim in the warm waters of the Mediterranean. Evening arrival in Nafplio to explore the beautiful old town, the residence of Greece’s first king Otto of Bavaria, and the surrounding hills with the Palamidi fortress.

Day 2: Palaia Epidaurus (Optional Excursion)

The yacht departs early in the morning for ancient Epidaurus, a site known in antiquity as a healing sanctuary. According to legend, Asclepius, the son of Apollo, was born here. The ancient theater is still used for performances today. The breathtaking sanctuary was plundered by the Roman general Sulla, pirates, and finally the Goths in 395 AD, leaving little behind except the theater. The wealth of the island once allowed its inhabitants to build impressive monuments, such as the theater (circa 300 BC), known for its perfect proportions and beauty.
Lunch on board and departure for Nafplio, the first capital of Greece. Overnight stay in the port.

Day 3: Nafplio and Mycenae (Optional Excursion)

After a short walk through the city of Nafplio, you will travel through the picturesque Argolis region towards Mycenae. Described by Homer as the “Kingdom of Gold,” Mycenae was a significant city from 1650 to 1100 BC until the end of the Mycenaean period. You will visit the ruins of the ancient city, including the grand Lion Gate, Agamemnon’s Tomb, and a wonderful museum.
Lunch on board and afternoon departure towards Monemvassia. Overnight stay on board at sea as the cruise continues towards Gythion.

Day 4: Gythion (Optional Excursion)

Early morning arrival in Gythion, followed by an excursion to the Mani Peninsula and Cape Tenaro, including a visit to the spectacular Diros Caves. Gythion has been inhabited since prehistoric times but was later used as a port by the Spartans. It was expanded and became the Spartans’ naval base.
After leaving Gythion, the cruise will circle the Mani Peninsula to visit the Diros Caves. These caves, discovered in the 1960s, are now part of Greece’s largest nature reserve. The journey continues to Areopolis, where you can enjoy the sun and explore the fascinating beauty of Mani’s landscapes, including its underground lakes.

Day 5: Pylos (Optional Excursion)

Pylos is a beautiful town in the southwest of the Peloponnese, located directly by the sea. In 1827, during one of the largest naval battles in history, the Venetian-Greek fleet defeated the powerful Ottoman fleet, leading to Greece’s independence in 1829. After a break to admire the landscapes, we continue to the magnificent Palace of Nestor. The ruins of this prehistoric palace are located on a hill north of Pylos and were discovered in 1939 by American archaeologist Carl Blegen. The royal suite is well-preserved, and even a bathtub, undoubtedly belonging to the king, was found. The palace’s cloister was originally built on two levels and tastefully decorated with frescoes.
We then proceed to Chora, where a beautiful museum displays thousands of objects found in the palace. Overnight stay on board at sea, heading towards Katakolon.

Day 6: Katakolon and Olympia (Optional Excursion)

Early morning arrival in Katakolon. Disembarkation at 7:00 AM, followed by a bus ride to Olympia, one of the most famous sites of antiquity. This is where the first Olympic Games were held. We will visit the Temple of Hera and the magnificent Temple of Zeus, where athletes trained. Later, we will explore the Museum of Olympia, considered one of the most beautiful in the world.
After lunch in Olympia, we will visit the Museum of the History of the Ancient Olympic Games, which focuses exclusively on ancient artifacts and archaeology related to the games. After some free time for independent exploration, we will travel to Patras on the northern coast of the peninsula and reboard the ship to sail to Itea in the Gulf of Corinth. Overnight stay in the port of Itea.

Day 7: Itea and Delphi (Optional Excursion)

The excursion to Delphi, one of the world’s most popular archaeological sites, begins early in the morning. We will visit the impressive ruins of Delphi, astonishingly built on the slope of a mountain. This fantastic site takes everyone’s breath away. At its peak, Delphi was known for its wealth and reputation as the largest oracle of antiquity. The tour of the ruins and the museum will take half a day.
We then return to the ship and sail through the Corinth Canal to Marina Zea. Overnight stay in the port of Marina Zea.
